The robots are coming - don't be afraid: Daniel Sieberg gives his expert outlook on new technology coming down the pike for AI, robotics & machine learning

With robotics and smart technology taking ever-increasing roles in our daily lives, Executive Speaker's Daniel Sieberg, a best-selling author, keynote speaker and spokesperson for Google, recently discussed new and upcoming trends in the artificial intelligence (AI) world. "Whether examining how lack of sleep affects productivity, or better ways to maximize efficiency/ time management, I find most are very receptive to the concepts."

In addition, through his presentations, Sieberg takes complex science and technology stories and tries to make them more relevant, simpler and compelling to broader audiences. He adds that robotics technology shouldn't be feared, but embraced, when it comes to future innovations. Consumers rely on Google for unlimited information, and can now tailor the technology to individual preferences, even creating natural conversations.

Sieberg's role at Google is part of the News Lab team, which fosters innovation in storytelling with the editorial side of newsrooms around the world. As spokesperson, he also spends a fair amount of time discussing products and tools coming down the pike for consumers.

"One area of machine learning will soon have a tremendous impact on the health care IT industry," he shares. "The technology will help create secure databases for medical providers to utilize a streamlined system for more effective diagnoses, while at the same time maintaining patient privacy." Sieberg concludes that many other industries stand to gain from AI in the near future, as well, when it comes to interactive, targeted and streamlined services.
